Helpful FAQs
Can I get treatment in between my service appointments?
Absolutely! We include free, unlimited warranty services between your regular visits. These services can be used for both the interior and exterior of your home.
How often will Moxie Pest Control provide treatments?
Our year-round general pest control plans include an initial pest-flushing service, followed up by your first regular maintenance service 30 days later. After that, regular maintenance visits occur depending on your selected service plan.
If you are on a bi-monthly service plan then you can expect to have 7 total regularly scheduled pest control visits. The first being the initial pest-flush service, then first regular maintenance visit 30 days following, and then every two months thereafter.
With the quarterly service plan, you can expect to have 5 total regularly scheduled pest control visits. The first being the initial pest-flush service, then first regular maintenance visit 30 days following and then every three months thereafter – one each season.
Each service begins with a thorough inspection of your property to look for areas of pest activity and potential conducive conditions. We then use a backpack sprayer to protect your home’s foundation to create a barrier against pests and prevent them from coming indoors. We’ll also granulate your yard, remove spiderwebs and wasp nests, spot-treat specific areas of concern, and perform custom treatments to prevent the pests most likely to be problematic that season. We also treat indoors at no extra cost.
Additionally, you’re welcome to call us anytime for a free warranty service between these regularly scheduled treatments. If something pops up, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Why might I see more bugs after my first treatment?
The initial service is a flushing treatment designed to drive existing pests out of hiding and away from your home. Please don’t be alarmed! This is a normal part of the process and means the products we’re using to treat your home are working as intended.
If you’re ever concerned about any pest activity, feel free to reach out and we’ll be happy to assist. Free warranty services are a benefit of your pest control package, and our field experts are happy to return to your home and treat the issue.
Will I receive a report summarizing services after each appointment?
Yes! We’ll email you a detailed report after every service with a recap of what your field expert did, the products they used, and any special notes or recommendations. This information is also available through the customer portal at moxie.pestportals.com.
