Keeping Tampa homes pest free

Just signed up for bimonthly environmental safe treatment with Siyuan Hollowell. What a fine gentleman. Had the pleasure of working with service tech Dorian who walked our property and home and attended to every request we could think of. We even got a special note on our anniversary! We really look forward to our new collaboration with Moxie!

This team in the heights area are top notch. Anthony (Ant man) is outstanding and made signing up (and canceling my old pest control) so easy. Bruce came by next day and was great too. These guys are hungry for work and bust their butts. They knocked all the little spider webs off the house. It looks so good. I’m so glad we switched. Wish I would have done it sooner.

Moxie was incredibly quick to respond when we needed service. We really appreciated how promptly they were able to help us. Prince was our service technician, and he was wonderful! He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. We really appreciated how friendly he was and how thoroughly he answered our questions. Absolutely would recommend Moxie for any future needs.

When Gustin, a representative from Moxie showed up at our door with a great deal, we wanted to take advantage of it. They returned the same day and rendered services. They sprayed our porch, cleared all the cobwebs from the perimeter of our home, including the porch, they laid ant bait traps in our kitchen, where we were experiencing an influx of ants. They noticed where the majority of the ants were coming from outside and treated that area as well. They treated our deck, where the ants were coming into our home and immediately we saw results. They even treated our lawn front and back. The next day I did not see one ant in my kitchen. I saw a few dead bugs on the deck. But after 2 days, I am very happy with our decision. They guaranteed me that all of their chemicals were pet friendly and plants safe. One thing that I didn't like is that they bind you into a contract for a year, where they will come out every three months to retreat your property. If you end the contract before the period then there is a penalty fee. However, we are satisfied with the services and would recommend anyone who can afford it to purchase a pest control plan from Moxie.

We recently switched from a company we've been with for almost 5 years. We saw a promotion for Moxie with the Carolina Hurricanes. It was slightly more expensive than our old company but it included yard service (and we have ants!) Low pressure sales folks with great communication. Our initial service was great and we got tips related to keeping our mulch beds dry (and reducing outdoor pests). Overall great interactions. ⭐

We’ve been happy Moxie customers for a while now, but Ashley took it to the next level today! She was incredibly kind to my kids and patiently listened to their observations and comments; she even gave them fun Moxie activity books. Thanks for brightening my children’s evening. We appreciate you! And best of all, we’ve seen great pest control since we started using Moxie — I rarely see ants, never see earwigs anymore! It’s well worth the expense for us.

Dalton Vogt was my technician. He was thorough, conscientious of protecting my personal property outside and belongings inside, and was extremely efficient in treatment of my home and lawn, including spider web and wasp nest removal. He was patient in answering my questions and addressing my concerns about pests and types of treatments/chemicals which were used. I cannot highly enough recommend this company and this service! Mr. David T showed up on time and with a smile! He handed me a placard with the company’s contact information and the website to access my account. He explained to me everything that he was going to do and how the product would work. It was nice that he asked me where my sprinklers were so that he could install the product. Everything went smoothly and just as he explained it. Thank you!

MOXIE Inspector Peter Lockard Went Above and Beyond<br /> I recently contacted two pest control companies to inspect my home for termites. Of the two companies, only MOXIE Pest Control identified the termite issue. The MOXIE inspector, Mr. Peter Lockard, was exceptional.<br /> Mr. Lockard was thorough, professional, and highly knowledgeable throughout the inspection. He took the time to explain what he was looking for, including signs of warped wood, termite tunnels, termite droppings, and the physical characteristics of queen and soldier termites. Shortly after entering the basement, he noticed a small amount of termite droppings that were barely visible. After removing the insulation, he discovered a much larger area of termite activity extending several feet between the wood foundation of the house and the cement wall supporting it. According to Mr. Lockard, I was fortunate because the termite damage appeared to be in its early stages and could still be treated.<br /> I would like to recognize Mr. Lockard for conducting an exceptionally detailed inspection from beginning to end. He inspected the main entrance of the house, each walkway stone on my patio, and the entire exterior perimeter of the home. His attention to detail exceeded my expectations, and it was clear that he went the extra mile to make sure the inspection was complete and done to the highest standard.<br /> Bottom line, in my opinion, Peter Lockard is one of the best termite inspectors I have had the opportunity to work with in the Northern Virginia and Washington, DC area.<br /> Thank you, Peter, for a job well done
